My goal for my concept reflects an upscale club and tropical atmosphere while maintaining the core shopping experience. The shopping experience is in a drink, and as you walk through the store, there is a lemon section, cherry section, and pineapple section as it is expressed in the axon below. The top three images reflects shape, space and pattern. These three factors were used for the shape of shelving for accessories, display along the windows, and a space for a private collection. The middle image is a precedent of Prada’s runway: Back to the Basics. This plays a roll in my ceiling elements, as well as my runway area for when there is a fashion show going on. On the bottom row, these images communicates the aesthetic I’m going for in my decision making for the space. Because I was limited to a certain number of pages, every element on the page had to have a purpose. Some scenes were tweaked, perspectives changed and character clothing colors altered. I wanted to create images that not only complemented the text but made the narrative multi-dimensional; this meant considering what the antagonist wore versus the protagonist. The main character and protagonist, Matt, wore blue sweatshirt and shorts with sneakers and Evelyn, who was the free spirit wore green and orange with sandals.
